Shafiq & Ida were invited by PTRZ team to join their podcast at BTP booth PBAKL.

Me, Ida & Shafiq went to PBAKL for the Ejen Ali 10th Anniversary + TV3 42nd Anniversary.

We waited until the Ali & Bakar stage slot at 10am! We were first greeted by Iqin & Iez! We received tons of badges and stickers! And Ali’s favourite roti! Strawberry & Durian! Thanks a lot, guys!

The event went smoothly. There was a quiz segment where Shafiq kind of upped the difficulty of the questions — and well, the fans answered correctly!

After the slot, we went to Hilal’s booth to say hi! Ramai gila orang beratur to get his signature! We got a quick selfie — and then were called back to take a more proper photo with Hilal! Sorry, queues!!!!

The crowd, is now heavy. We struggled moving into different areas because the there’s just a lot of people.
Don’t forget our special look!
See everyone this 8pm, 6th June at PBAKL! We’ll see you there, insyallah!

Last Friday marked the return of WAUActive after a long hiatus, and what better way to kick things off than at our favourite spot, IOI Park!
It’s the perfect destination for a bit of everything. Whether you’re up for a brisk walk, shooting hoops at the basketball courts, or showing off your skills at the extreme sports area, there’s something for everyone. There’s even a dedicated pet-friendly zone for those who like bringing their furry companions along!
Great to be back out there. Here’s to more sessions ahead! 💪

When we launched the popularity poll in the first week of April, we honestly weren’t sure what to expect. The results? A little surprising!

Ejen Ganz, Ejen Karya & Dos came in strong their supporters were incredibly dedicated, voting hard to push their favorites up the chart. Respect! 🙌

But in the end, Ejen Ali and Alicia held their ground, claiming No. 1 and No. 2. 👊
The full list of results will be updated soon stay tuned!
Thanks all MATA ejens who voted.

Wahhh🤩
Thank you Marigold for the yummy chocolate milk🍫🥛

Today we had the honour of being at TNB’s Hari Pekerja celebration at Unifi Arena! We were there for rehearsal yesterday but the real event? Full crowd. Full semangat.

Jero’s quite tall!

Ali: Pakcik demam ke~ macam demam, panas ni~

also, Happy Labour Day to everyone reading! Long weekend ahead, have a good rest!

When we first committed to bringing Nirnama to life as an animated series, we knew early on that we couldn’t just wing it. We had to feel the world before we could draw it.
It started with Hilal’s books and also comics. The team was digging into the history of Kesultanan Melayu the because that’s the world Nirnama lives in. Not a textbook version of it, but the essence of it. The vibe. The weight of it.
So naturally, the next step was obvious: we had to go to Melaka!
Melaka is arguably Malaysia’s most historically significant state, and for a story rooted in the Malay Sultanate era, there was no better place to ground ourselves. We spent a full day visiting key landmarks and museums, walking through displays, studying motifs, textures, that you simply can’t absorb from a book alone.
The goal wasn’t to replicate history with accuracy, Nirnama is a fictional story, and we’re not making a documentary. What we were after was essence. The kind of visual language that makes you feel like you’re in that world, even if every single detail isn’t historically faithful. There’s a difference between accuracy and authenticity, and we were chasing the latter.
The real work happens after the trip.
We can’t share too much just yet, but what we saw in Melaka absolutely shaped the visual direction we’re heading toward. The team is excited. Let’s just leave it at that.
Oh, and the Asam Pedas.

No trip to Melaka is complete without food, and we were not about to skip that. Lunch was, of course, Asam Pedas!
