    Yesterday we dropped by Gig@BIT 2026 — Program Wanita at Hotel Seri Pacific, Kuala Lumpur.

    Ida Rahayu, the voice of Ejen Ali, joined the “Bual Bicara: Mencipta Pengaruh, Membina Legasi” session together with Christy Ng, moderated by Puan Irin Putri.

    Christy shared how she started with no real plan, selling out of a pasar malam stall before any of this became what it is today. Ida’s start wasn’t so different. She went for an audition just to try, no expectations, and that one step landed her the voice of Oopet. Yes, that Oopet. “Kamu siapa, tinggal mana.”

    We also had a good chat with YB Lim Hui Ying, Timbalan Menteri Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat. Always encouraging to see this kind of support for women in the creative and tech space.

    Also got to chat with Banep and Budi Fasola from Christy Ng’s team. And this isn’t actually our first crossing. WAU did the CG work for the Mamee Monster promo with Christy Ng before this 👇

  • WAUYANG – Jom Ke Laut, Suli Suli Bajau : A Documentary That Stays With You

    We were invited by Zan Azlee, the director behind Jom Ke Laut, Suli Suli Bajau, for a screening held at Mid Valley Megamall. Close to 30 of us were there, joined by Zan Azlee himself and Amir Muhammad. It was already a special evening before the film even started.

    The documentary follows three young people; Bilkuin, Shima, and Didi who live on Omadal Island off the coast of Sabah. What makes this film special is how it was made. After joining a filmmaking workshop and showing real promise, the three of them were selected as junior directors, mentored by a professional crew. So in many ways, this is their story told through their own eyes and their own hands.

    And what they showed us was real, honest, and quietly heartbreaking.

    What struck us most was how much we take for granted. Access to education. Healthcare. Something as fundamental as having a nationality. The Bajau Laut community in this film navigates a life where many of these things simply don’t exist. Born stateless, living on the margins not in some distant corner of the world, but right here, on our side of the world. This documentary doesn’t let you look away. It asks you to sit with it, feel it, and hopefully carry something out of that cinema with you.

    Terima kasih, Zan Azlee, for the invitation and for making something this important. Stories like this need to be told, and told well.

  • Ejen Ali 10th Anniversary Celebration, TV3 42nd Birthday & Melawat Reruai Hilal Asyraf

    Me, Ida & Shafiq went to PBAKL for the Ejen Ali 10th Anniversary + TV3 42nd Anniversary.

    We waited until the Ali & Bakar stage slot at 10am! We were first greeted by Iqin & Iez! We received tons of badges and stickers! And Ali’s favourite roti! Strawberry & Durian! Thanks a lot, guys!

    The event went smoothly. There was a quiz segment where Shafiq kind of upped the difficulty of the questions — and well, the fans answered correctly!

    After the slot, we went to Hilal’s booth to say hi! Ramai gila orang beratur to get his signature! We got a quick selfie — and then were called back to take a more proper photo with Hilal! Sorry, queues!!!!


    The crowd, is now heavy. We struggled moving into different areas because the there’s just a lot of people.

  • WAUActive Returns!

    Last Friday marked the return of WAUActive after a long hiatus, and what better way to kick things off than at our favourite spot, IOI Park!

    It’s the perfect destination for a bit of everything. Whether you’re up for a brisk walk, shooting hoops at the basketball courts, or showing off your skills at the extreme sports area, there’s something for everyone. There’s even a dedicated pet-friendly zone for those who like bringing their furry companions along!

    Great to be back out there. Here’s to more sessions ahead! 💪

  • Air Terjun Sg. Pisang

    WAUActive minggu ni kita pergi jungle trekking and river crossing ke Waterfall Sungai Pisang. anggaran 30-40min untuk sampai ke destinasi. Dari lepak breakfast kat opis sampai survive balik dalam hujan, setiap saat ada cerita. Termasuk gambar dalam terowong viral tu! ~

  • WAU Raya and 13ᵗʰ Anniversary Celebration

    This year’s theme? Doodle. The team went all out.

    This year the team went all out with a full hand drawn doodle theme from the backdrop to every small small hanging decos.

    Semua buat sendiri, stayed late, and made sure everything WAU!. And it showed. 💜

    Crowd favourite? The vespa. (And maybe the ayam)

    Makanan? pergh. Toksah cakap lah. Sedap sungguh!

    13 years of WAU. Thank you everyone for making this one special!
